Woye for Ring

Bring an AI model to your Ring cameras.

Tell your cameras what to watch for in plain language. Woye checks every alert before it reaches you, and tells you how the day went.

  1. 1

    Link your Ring account

From the Ring app, open Woye and sign in. Ring asks you to confirm what Woye may see.

  2. 2

    Choose your cameras

Pick which Ring cameras and doorbells Woye should watch. Leave the rest out.

  3. 3

    Tell them what matters

“Let me know if anyone is at the back door after we close.” That is the whole setup.

What your Ring cameras can do with Woye.

Prompt, control and configure in plain language

Write rules the way you would brief a person. Ask what happened at the front door this afternoon. Change what it watches for by saying so.

Alerts checked before they reach you

Woye looks at more than one frame before it calls something an intrusion, so a passing car or a moving branch stays quiet.

Business numbers for shops

For a shop, it can count visitors at the door and tell you when it was busiest.

A daily report

One short summary of the day: what happened, what it checked, and anything you should look at.

Motion events and recorded clips

Woye works from the motion events your cameras send, and from recorded clips where your Ring plan keeps them.

Private by design

Privacy zones you set in the Ring app stay in place. Woye never identifies strangers or passers-by, and face recognition stays off unless you enrol people with their consent.

What you need.

Check these before you link. If you are not sure about your setup, ask us.

  • A wired Ring camera or doorbell that records motion events

Woye starts from the motion events your device sends, so motion detection needs to be on.

  • A Ring Protect or Ring Home plan for recorded clips

Without a plan, Ring keeps no recordings for Woye to analyse.

  • End-to-end encryption turned off on the devices you want analysed

With end-to-end encryption on, only your own phone can open the video. That is the point of it, and it means Woye cannot analyse those devices.
